What is the Festival of Trees? The Festival of Trees is an annual fundraiser that funds community grants and programs. Our sponsors put together themed trees, gift baskets, and even vacation packages for the event, and these items are raffled or auctioned off during the weekend. Click here for our public main hours. We have four main events at the Festival of Trees...an after hours preview social, a festive luncheon, a daddy-daughter dance, and an extravagant gala....all meant to get you in the holiday spirit, and 100% of every donation goes back to the community!
Who puts on the Festival of Trees? The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana, or JLCU, is an organization of over 350 trained women volunteers committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana (JLCU) is a charitable, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
